Among the characteristics of hot-rolled UPE long profiles, we can cite:

• The compliance of their grades (S235JR / S275JR / S355J2) with the European standard EN 10025-2.
• A yield strength and elongation capacity.
• A better load-bearing capacity than IPN with a degree of resistance that varies between 9% and 34%.
• The presence of wider wings than UPN with a constant thickness to be assembled with: rolled flat iron, rectangular or square steel tubes, round steel tubes, simple profiles, steel sheet, etc.
• Application field: building, metal construction, maintenance.

As part of long laminated products, UPN have the following properties:

• Commonly used grades (S235JR / S275JR / S355J2) and certified according to the European standard 10025.
• Heavier than UPE with a standard length of 6100 mm or 12100 mm. These dimensions may vary depending on the needs.
• They can have a surface treatment such as galvanized, shot-blasted or pre-painted.
• Possibility of assembly with steel sheets, welded square tubes, unequal angles or aluminum angles, etc.
• UPN are suitable for several applications: metal construction, door frames, supports, etc.
