As a general rule, the rolling of sheets is carried out in three successive stages:
- The first step is called leveling. It is used to eliminate irregularities in the shape of the plate.
- The 2nd step is called adjustment or cross-rolling aims to give the product the appropriate width.
- The third step is to make the final adjustment of the steel sheets thickness sheet with different procedures (cooling/ rolling "thermo-mechanical").
